Highlights of Healthy Buildings 2015 America and Europe

CETEC consultants recently attended and presented at the twin Healthy Buildings 2015 conferences held in Europe and America in May and July respectively. Dr Vyt Garnys facilitated a successful workshop at both conferences seeking worldwide agreement for Productivity Measures for Indoor Environment Quality.

The workshop highlight was the video and written contributions by leading international experts and the use of international definitions of productivity, integrated with IEQ and occupant response studies. New Cutting Edge Incubator near Monash University in Clayton

Last week a group from CETEC was invited to a tour of the new Eastern Innovation Business Centre (EIBC), built by the City of Monash. This facility is for innovative start-ups seeking to develop and commercialise their ideas. During our tour we saw the wet and dry laboratories, and some very creative and well designed office, meeting and casual group spaces. With full digital integration and all the right tools to innovate and grow, you can see more on facebook or call 1300 462 822 to learn more or arrange a tour.

CETEC provided specialist advice for the building design, in order to optimise the indoor environment quality. CETEC will also be undertaking a Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) of this building in accordance with the NABERS IE protocol, in the near future.
