PrimeSci! and CETEC
CETEC was a long term financial sponsor of The PrimeSCI! LabRats Science Club from 2011 to 2017.
This was initiated when this science education program was based at Monash Science Centre (Monash University). During this period, this science education program was focused on a annual group of 50 students aged 10-14 years old.
The program has since changed and is now aligned with Swinburne University of Technology, at the Wantirna campus.
CETEC was proud to sponsor the National Conference of the Inorganic Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) in 2019.
Inorganic Chemistry 19 or IC19 was held in Wollongong in December 2019. An exciting range of plenary and keynote lecturers from around the world were assembled for IC19. Elysha (Taylor) Williams from CETEC was also on a conference diversity panel held at the conference.
CETEC has also sponsored academic prizes at the University of New South Wales (2011-2015 - UNSW website for more information) and the City of Monash, World Environment Day Awards (2004 to 2013). In 2014 the awards were changed to the Sir John Monash Awards.
